1 month’s rent + VAT Just the essentials. We’ll guide you through each initial step, from marketing your property and building your presence on sales portals, to meeting and processing your new tenant. It includes:

  • Processing of all tenant ID
  • Collection of initial tenancy fees *

Recurring monthly 10% +VAT – Reduces upfront costs Recurring annually 8.5% +VAT – Reduces overall costs Continued support. Following the initial set up, we’ll be there on a regular basis to collect rent payments and ensure standard charges are taken care of. It includes:

Check-in/Check-out inventory:
From £80 +VAT

Tenancy Agreement:
£200.00 +VAT

Tenant References:
£25.00 +VAT per tenant

Property inspections:
from £80.00 +VAT*

Tenancy renewal:

Update to utilities at tenancy start/end:
£12.00 +VAT per company**

Keys cut:
£10 +VAT per set plus the total cost of keys cut.

Agent call out:

Tenants

At Malixons, we’re completely transparent about our service charges with no hidden extras. Here’s a breakdown of the payments you can expect during your tenancy:

AST Tenant Fees

Monthly rent charges.

Holding Deposit:
capped at one weeks’ rent.

Deposit:
A maximum of 5-weeks rent – increasing to 6 weeks for properties with rent over £50,000 per year.

You can only be charged a late payment fee once you’re 14 days late with rent.

Default fee for rent payment after 14 days: no more than 3% APR above the Bank of England base rate. You can only be charged by your landlord or agent, not both.

Default charges for lost keys or security fobs will be a reasonable cost for replacement only.

A landlord or agent is entitled to charge up to £50 for the administration involved in amending the tenancy agreement or the amount of their reasonable costs, if that is higher.

You can be charged if your landlord or agent agree to let you end your tenancy early or you leave without notice. Early termination charges, when requested by tenant can only cover loss incurred by your landlord or your agent’s reasonable costs. 

Bill payments including, utilities, TV licence, council tax and energy efficiency charges.
